ELIZABETH (MAGENNIS) DIPIERNO MOUNT OLIVE, NEW JERSEY — Elizabeth Magennis DiPierno passed away on June 7, 2015. Elizabeth was a journalist, an elected member of the Mount Olive Bd. of Education, served on many voluntary committees and boards in Mount Olive, worked at BASF, was a scheduler at Red Bank Gastro, wife, mother, sister, aunt, homemaker and proud grandmother. Elizabeth graduated from Arlington HS in Poughkeepsie, NY. Attended Rider College in Trenton, NJ where she studied medical technology and played both basketball and tennis for the school. Elizabeth is survived by: her husband of 52 plus years, Pietro M. DiPierno, her sister Patricia Mastri and brother-in-law Roger Mastri, her sister-in-law Tina Bosco, her son Stephan and daughter-in-law Shelby, her daughter Lara Elizabeth Collado and son-in-law Luis Collado, her son Jason and daughter-in-law Marcia. Elizabeth's proudest treasures were her seven grandchildren: Zane, Reed, Mariah, Rhen, Paige, Layla and Giana. She was their babysitter, tutor for homework, sounding board, loudest sports fan, loved watching them perform on stage and someone all of them loved to sit and talk with.
